I just bought a new car and tried putting decals on it and messed up. how do i remove without ruining paint?

i just bought a 2007 ford mustang and bought some mustang striping/decals to go along the bottom of each side and tried to do it myself and messed it up. i need to remove it right away and need to know how to do it so i don't mess up the paint.
