Why doesn't he wanna become close friends again? Do i have cooties?

I would just be like "Can we talk?" and if he doesn't want to talk then say "Well when you're ready to talk then you know where I am". I had to do this with one of my bestfriends who I met in 1st grade the first day of school and we were bestfriend until my senior year of high school. But she started acting how your friend is acting, well not being rude... but she would just act like a completely diff. person around others and always doing random drugs, so I just cut her off because it hurt me to see her that way... So I think that he just has issues but it may not seem like it. So I guess don't do what I did, because my friend and I rarely talk and I haven't seen her since 2004 and I regret shutting her out of my life. So don't miss the chance to make-up and tell him everything you just wrote. I wish I had expressed my concern and feelings!
