Male Libra problems with another Libra Male?

Ok this Libra male drives me up the wall. Our birthdays are only two days apart and he is nothing like me at all (thank the Lord). I thought us Libras are supposed to be peaceful and well-balanced but he has the most foul mouthed, volatile, unpredictable temper I have come accross who sometimes puts on an agressive facade and tries to be someone who he isn't. Some days however he will be nice (overly sickly kind of nice like he is trying to grease in), yet the next day his mood will change. He blames it on depression and claims he has been feeling really low, but he is always talking about his misfortunes in his life to get sympathy off other people. In most cases I would want to help a friend who said he had depression, but his friend has blown it because he has been rude to my partner, and most times we have arranged to go out he has made a nasty excuse last minute (usually claiming that someone close to him has been ill which is sick). He lies all the time about everything and is manipulative, unreliable and has a temper which I don't like.
