Will you proofread my paragraph? It's short! .?
Before Communist leader Mao united China, the People’s Republic was a divided, feuding nation. Urban workers and peasants slaved for hardly livable wages while their greedy rulers gained the wealth. Civil wars tore China apart leaving only one way to reunite the fractured country--a strong leader with Communist ideals. With the well being of the mes in mind, Mao Zedong, made many necessary reforms including fairly redistributing land, creating employment opportunities through public works, and building universities. His communistic reforms were necessary to reestablish Chinese unity and prosperity.
